Creation

An ant’s continuous dynamic is engraved on wood from bottom to top. The ant drills out of the hard cypress, escapes and continues to climb, as if it wants to break free and strive to transform. This signifies the artist’s desire to break through the status quo and transcend.

The realistic yet expressive sculpture was chiseled and carved from 380cm long cypress.
